In an age where much of our lives is digitized, the need for Cybersecurity expertise has never been more critical. In realization of this reality, the National Assembly passed the Computer Misuse and Cybercrime (Critical Information Infrastructure and Cybercrime Management) Regulations, 2024. Upon queries from youth around Pwani seeking advice on relevant career paths for our present and future world, I took time to check on institutions in Kenya offering Cybersecurity courses. I have landed on Moringa School as an institution that has the credentials, the right curriculum and course flexibility for me to recommend to those interested in pursuing Cybersecurity careers. The Cybersecurity CompTIA Security+ course helps prepare students for the Security+ certification [the world’s leading certification body for cybersecurity roles]. Students of this course gain in-demand skills that prepare them for jobs like Cybersecurity analyst, security operations center (SOC) analyst, and many more. By the end of the course, the learner will earn a certificate of completion from Moringa School and a Security + certification from CompTIA. The curriculum has been designed by Moringa School in partnership with CompTIA. Learners will be fully trained by certified technical mentors and instructors to complete the theory and practicals for this course. After completing the course content students will be in the best position to sit for the CompTIA Security + certification exams.

Cybersecurity CompTIA Security+ Course
There are no stringent requirements to join Moringa School. One wishing to pursue the courses just needs to have basic computer skills, proficiency in English (spoken and written). Learners must also have a computer or laptop ( core i5 – i7, 8GB RAM, 500GB memory). All classes are fully online and students are required to have access to stable internet. Moreover, students must have a desire and curiosity to learn and attend all classes.
